Through this initiative, we support selected authors who have powerful manuscripts but limited means to fund the publishing process. We review submissions carefully and only select a small number of manuscripts each year. We are looking for writing that is compelling, sincere, well-developed, and aligned with our values.

What the Select Programme Offers

If your manuscript is chosen, you’ll receive:

• Legal Deposit with the NLSA: We handle the National Library of South Africa legal deposit on your behalf, so your book becomes part of the nation’s archive.
