About the Author
For Zahra Rahman, reading has been a passion since childhood. But she always felt the absence of Muslim characters and everyday Islamic life in English literature. This inspired her debut picture book, Where, Oh Where Can I Pray?, written to help fill that gap and nurture young Muslim hearts.
Zahra holds a BA Honours degree in Applied Linguistics and teaches English online.
Her creativity often spills into art (with plenty of half-finished projects to prove it). But when it came to this one, she took on the challenge of illustrating her first book herself… and she finished it.
